At St. Andrew’s Preschool & Kindergarten we believe that the first five years of a child’s life are crucial to early learning and brain development, and we pride ourselves on providing a developmentally appropriate environment and curriculum to help make the most out of the years that our children spend with us. We want your child to leave our school feeling successful, with a sense of community, and we hope to create a lifelong love of learning within your child’s heart.   Christian faith development is woven throughout our days as children learn about God’s love, kindness, and care for others through prayer, stories, and daily interactions.

Our Kindergarten teachers focus on structuring our classes to meet the Arizona Kindergarten Learning Standards. Students learn problem solving, reasoning & classification in math through hands-on manipulatives. They develop phonemic awareness to develop reading skills and writing skills that children will need as they enter first grade. Our teachers gear all learning activities towards the developmental readiness and needs of our students, while providing an array of classroom materials in order to best individualize instruction for all students.
